Literacy Programs at the Y
FREE FAMILY AND YOUTH PROGRAMS
The Y’s literacy activities are supervised by a literacy specialist and use arts & crafts, music, cooking and other creative activities to foster a love for learning.
These programs are funded by the Brooke Jackman Foundation and the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development.

Afternoon Literacy for Children
A free program for children to practice reading skills and discover great books, games, arts & crafts and fun activities to help them build stronger literacy skills!
A literacy coach is present with program volunteers to work with the children.
