FREE YOUTH PROGRAMS
These mediation, teen and literacy programs are funded by the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development; they’re all free of charge and open to any NYC resident.

Harbor Heights Peer Mediation, Cultural Arts, Cooking, Computer Technology & Recreation

6th through 8th Graders
Mondays and Fridays, 3:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
September 21, 2009 to June 21, 2010

Location: Harbor Heights Middle School (Between 173rd and 174th on Fort Washington Avenue). This program is offered for our community’s intermediate school students who speak Spanish as a first language. In this program, 6th through 8th graders participate in cultural arts, cooking, computers, workshops and recreational activities. They also have time to discuss issues they face with trained social workers.

This program is funded by the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development; the program is free of charge and open to any NYC resident.
